Baby Jogger XC Summit Double Giveaway (CLOSED)

The time has come to part with my Baby Jogger stroller. My girls are now six and eight years old and have been running their own races the past couple of years. I held on to our jogging stroller and kept it in storage because it meant so much to me. There were many journeys, miles, several 5ks and 10ks raced with this awesome stroller.

I want to share a few wonderful moments I have had with this stroller over the years. During every race, I kept bubbles for the girls to blow while we ran. As people passed us they would comment on the bubbles and I would get smiles at the finish line. During a longer race, Jossalyn dropped her pink blanket (which she still has) and a mom from my running club (Tallahassee, FL Chapter Moms RUN This Town/She RUNS This Town)  was wonderful enough to pick it up and return it to us while racing!

After much thought and consideration I have decided give this stroller away rather than consign it, Craigslist it, or sell it. I have been blessed to be part of such an incredible running community and groups the past several years and look forward to giving back. I am hoping that this stroller will bless another family with wonderful memories and adventures!

    I’m expecting my second kiddo this summer and I haven’t figured out (yet) how I’ll be able to get back to running with both of them; a new stroller isn’t in the budget anytime soon. I loved using my single jogger for runs but it won’t work for two. I’d love to win, it would be a huge blessing!

    I am entering this giveaway for myself! I have 2 littles and started my journey to fitness last Fall. Currently only able to run on the dreadmill because we don’t have a double jogger! Would love to get the babies outside and hit the pavement for a few miles more frequently.

    What a fantastic and generous idea for a giveaway! I have a not-yet-one-year-old and just-turned-three-year-old and I run 6-7 days a week, usually alone in the morning or after work with one of the kids (don’t worry- the other one stays with daddy!) because I have a single jogger; but, it would be a huge blessing to have a double so I could get out with both kids, especially when daddy is out of town. I recently ran in the Springtime Tallahassee race pushing my daughter but it would have been awesome to have been able to push both her and my son!

    I’m entering because I have a 2.5 year old boy and a 1 year old girl and a double jogger would be so helpful. I rarely find time to do anything physical between motherhood, work, and pursuing my master’s degree. Recently I’ve started running with my kids in their Red Wagon, but it is not easy and not safe (in my opinion). I can’t purchase one right now as we’re looking to add little sister to daycare and that is going to break our bank. Without a giveaway like this, we simply won’t have the funds for a double jogger.

    Really falling for this running thing. Ran my first ever 5k last month, and am already registered to run in my second later this month. Would love to NOT have to struggle with where my babies are going while I run, and instead bring them with me to make memories.

    I am excited to enter. I like you have 2 older kids (my oldest is 8 and Ben is 4) . When they were younger I had a Schwinn double stroller and we ran at least 4 times a week. If I ever felt overwhelmed or knew it would be a long day I strapped them in and we went out for a run. I considered them my running team. I was heart broken when I realized my oldest was outgrew the stroller. Ben (my 4 year old) still fits but one child in a double stroller doesn’t make any sense. I gave away my Schwinn not thinking i would ever use it again. Fast forward to December 2016. We welcomed Max our third baby. I dream of having a double stroller once again and running with my sweet boys. I know how special running with kids really is (I even miss the in stroller fights, hair pulling, toys falling out, running back a couple of miles trying to find a “lovie” that was dropped… I’m sure you can relate) I’ll be crossing my fingers.

    I’m a mother of soon to be 3 (My first is a teenager followed my sweet preschooler and I’m expecting one late May/early June). I’m obese due to a workers comp injury that prevented me for being able to work out. I had surgery before I got pregnant and it was a success. No pain!!! Want to have a double stroller to get myself healthy, since my job leaves me sedentary all day, as well as her my kids out of the house.

    I’m a mother of 2 and want to get back into running. With a fiancé who works all the time, it can be challenging to find someone to watch the kiddos so I can go on a run. Winning this would be such a blessing making me able to bring them with me.

    This is such an amazing idea!! I would love to use this jogging stroller for my two littles as I am training for my second Half Marathon (and hopefully a full marathon in the distant future!). Your story is so inspiring and I am sure your children look up to you as their hero! 😀

    My late husband was a member of GulfWinds Track Club and dreamed of running with our infant son before he passed away from brain cancer . I have loved running races with our son since then and have since remarried and am expecting a little girl in August. A dual jogging stroller would be wonderful for me to continue my running tradition with 2 kids!
