Last week, the Fall 2014 Athleta catalog arrived in the mail. It was intercepted by my husband (who happens to love workout gear). I was surprised to see him flipping through the pages when I walked in the house after work. The commentary that proceeded went a little like this…

Husband: “What is Athleta?”

Me: “Athleta, it is a GAP brand that specializes in workout gear.”

Husband: “I like the pants on page 10, you should get them.”

Me: (Weird, he has never told me to buy clothes before). “Okay.”

Husband: “Why don’t they make guys stuff? I kept waiting to get to the guys section and there isn’t one. They should make guys stuff, I would buy some.”

Me: “I know you would.”

Thank you Athleta for just making women’s gear, otherwise my husband would be stealing the catalog every time it arrived at the house and putting our Old Navy card to frequent use. I have run half marathons and a marathon in Athleta running skirts, the running knickers fit perfectly without having too low of a rise, and all the gear tends to outlast any of the other gear I own. I have also invested in yoga tops, full length running tights (thank you for making petite sizes),and running bras. I am not as impressed with their running bras as the two that I do own have rubbed me raw in a few places; the bras look great and are great for yoga, but a running bra should be fit well while running.

    I follow via Bloglovin! If I win, I will use it to take my daughter on a mother-daughter day out shopping spree! She is getting to the age where she is all about clothes so it’s fun to go shop together.

    I absolutely love Old Navy and GAP athletic apparel! I would say 90% of my athletic gear is from those two stores. I would use this gift card to buy more winter athletic gear – leggings, long sleeve shirts, etc

    I’d buy some new workout clothes and maybe some new work clothes too. Lost some weight from working hard and now need to dress like my clothes fit! Even the running pants slide down (i have to apologize in case I accidentally moon someone)
